At Calvary salvation was by grace alone through faith. This began with the two thieves being crucified beside Jesus. One thief mocked Jesus; while the other thief reminded him they were guilty. Believing Jesus was the King of the Jews, that thief asked Him, "Remember me when thou cometh into Thy kingdom" (Luke 23:42). Without any repentance, water baptism or works Jesus replied, "Verily I say unto thee, Today thou shalt be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43). Because Jesus came to his own and the Jewish leaders did not receive him, the apostle Paul went to the Gentiles. It's been two thousand years since that time meaning its time for the church to be raptured. This will be followed by the tribulation then Jesus' coming with the saints riding on white horses as King of kings and Lord of lords to destroy evil and sit on the Great White throne. Next is the wedding supper of the Lamb and thousand-year Kingdom.
