Someone once told Laura Ricketson Doherty that writing is thinking on paper, and she has been doing that for most of her life. She has taught language arts, worked as a feature writer and reporter for area news publications, published a book, "Annie Ricketson's Journal," and most recently worked as communications coordinator for The Art Complex Museum, a mid-size art museum in Duxbury, established to house the collections of the Weyerhaeuser family and exhibit them and the works of regional and local artists.
Although an inveterate traveler, she has been a New Englander all of her life and currently lives in Duxbury with her Shetland Sheepdog, Torin.
