The Healing Words of Psalms is a book that will inspire and encourage its reader. This book is filled with over one hundred scriptures that will inspire and encourage its reader. The Healing Words of Psalms has been given to me by God over eleven years ago when my mother had a heart attack. It was the Healing Words of Psalms that pulled me through the pain that I was facing. When my daughter Alexis S. Edwards was murdered on Sunday, December 29th, 2019. It was the Healing Words of Psalms that helped me from going through a state of deep depression. The prayers and scriptures that are in this book will help and guide the reader through any circumstances that they may face in their life. With all the racism, murders, and chaos in the world today we need the word of God to heal our land, The word of Gods declares, "If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins, and heal their land" 2 Chronicles 7:14. The world needs to be healed and The Healing Words of Psalms is the world's antidote for the venomous poison of the adversary the devil. The Bible declare "He sent His word and his word and healed them. And delivered them from their destruction" Psalm 107:20 Pastor Lorenzo Edwards was born in Gary, Indiana to Willie and Barbara Edwards on July 06, 1970. Pastor Edwards attended William A. Wirt High School graduating in 1989. He continued his education at Rangeley College in Colorado, where he played basketball and baseball. In 1993, Pastor Edwards attended Vincennes University earning an Associate's degree in Sports Medicine, and later going on to Indiana State University for two years. During his attendance at Reed Christian College, he received a Bachelor's degree in Theology in 2009. After graduating, he wrote a best-selling book titled "To The Young Minister". Pastor Edwards preached his first message in April of 2000 at New St. Paul Baptist Church, later to be installed as Senior Pastor on Sunday, September 18, 2005. For nine-years, Pastor Edwards served faithfully at New St. Paul Baptist Church, grateful for the growth and opportunity. God led Pastor Edwards to organize New Destiny Purpose Church in December 2013. Starting the process, he held a meeting with ten faithful members at Denny's restaurant on 17th St. in Santa Ana, CA on December 23rd; together they organized New Destiny Purpose Church. NDPC held its first service on January 5, 2014, located at 600 S. Grand St. Ste. 111 in Santa Ana, CA. The church enjoyed a wonderful service; twenty-one people joined that day. God continued to do great things in the life of Pastor Edwards. Pastor Edwards is a community activist and held a stop the bloodshed peace march in his hometown of Gary IN on June 6th, 2015. Pastor Edwards was recognized with an award from the City of Los Angeles for his peace walk The Blood cries in the City of Los Angeles. Pastor Edwards has proven himself worthy of this calling. Pastor Edwards is a powerful man of God, he preaches by example. Pastor Edwards is empowering the vision as he stands on the shoulders of giants who went before him.
