We know, or should know, Prayer is the most powerful and important event in which we can engage. We are commanded by Jesus to pray without ceasing. This booklet cites some events that illustrate this power.
Many of the events cited were actual occurrences as witnessed and reported by knowledgeable individuals. Some are reprinted from email messages carrying an important message.
Others are reprinted from comments made by young children. As Art Linkletter used to say, "Kids say the darnedest things.
A brief view of the writer
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree
Born mid-depression years, scars remain. Raised with eight brothers and Mom and Dad, Mom taught Sunday School youngsters for over forty years. Her favorite age group was four or five years as she talked with them about the love of Jesus. Dad's occupation was that of a Carpenter with a spiritual calling of a Pastor and Preacher. He followed his calling for thirty years.
Memories of Sunday school with the family from an early age and continuing religious training through adult hood remained vivid.
I was given the privilege of previewing this project prior to its being finalized and published. I found it thought provoking and entertaining. The author maintains many of the stories were written from real life experiences I recommend this book of short stories and antidotes for anyone.
