hearer only' if they are to experience a truly fulfilling and effective spiritual life. He demonstrates that, according to the biblical accounts of Jesus's interaction with his first disciples, Christianity should be a life of remarkable adventure. Adventure which will unavoidably challenge our own way of thinking and also dramatically challenge how we, the church, do things in the 21st century. He argues that if that's how Jesus 'worked' with his disciples then - with astonishing results, why should it be any different now?
