God’s Word, My Voice: A Lectionary for Children. Author Lyn Zill Briggs was inspired to create this wonderful resource when she heard a child paraphrase a psalm during worship. She reworded the entire Revised Common Lectionary in language kids can read aloud so that they, too, can take part in worship services.
God’s Word, My Voice was written with worship in mind, but it’s a valuable addition to Christian day school programs, children’s chapels, and family liturgies as well.
